Trade: You can send up to 3 dahlia tubers (Fall & Spring) or rooted cuttings (Spring only) of any variety to check out up to 3 dahlia varieties from the library catalog. This means if you check in 1, you can check out 1; the trade is cap at 3 dahlias total per season.
Alternatively you can check in seeds and supplies if you're starting out, and the amount of dahlias you can check out will be a case by case basis, with a cap at 3.
Donation: You can donate tubers (Fall & Spring), rooted cuttings (Spring only), seeds (anytime), and supplies (anytime) without expecting anything in return.
When donating or trading, please do so with cultivators you have grown and verified in your own garden for at least 1 season.
Please provide clean stock. We all work hard on keeping our garden as healthy as possible. If you suspect you may have unhealthy stock, please do not send them.
Only members who have filled out the Trade Form and sent their trade in will receive the password to check out
When check out, keep in mind that the library inventory includes all the donations, not just Evelyn's personal stocks. We will remove any tuber/cutting with obvious signs of pest/disease/blindness. However, the library cannot guarantee the viability and correct labeling. Please be aware of the risk and make sure that's ok with you.
Please do not share your Password or Membership #. Doing so will result in your removal from the library along with the non-member.
No private selling or buying allowed on the group platform.
Please do not PM other members for free items. If you get reported, we will have to remove you from the library.
Due to their perishable nature, all tuber & cutting sales are final.
